Audrey Thoenen
Fifteen-year-old Audrey suffers from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). This is a very painful, debilitating, rare disease. Individuals with EDS have a defect in their connective tissue. The connective tissue in a normal person provides support to many body parts including the skin, ligaments and muscles. In a person with EDS, the collagen in their body is faulty, which results in extreme pain, unstable joints, and fragile skin.
Funds are being raised to help with medical bills and to enable Audrey’s family to build a bedroom for her on the ground floor of their two-story home.

Chris Carson Family
Chris Carson, who has a wife and young daughter, was seriously injured in a truck rollover on his way to work last October. His truck flipped multiple times, and he was ejected from the back window, landing nearly 30 feet from his vehicle. The accident left Chris with burst fracture of cervical discs 5 and 6 and a T11 compression fracture.
Despite these spinal cord injuries and the initial assessment that he would never again have feeling or movement from the neck down, Chris’ fighting and courageous spirit is paying off. Through generous donations, Chris has been able to start rehabilitation at The Neuro Institute in Tempe. With the aid of therapists, on April 16 Chris stood for the first time in six months. Because this specialized therapy is not covered by their insurance, donations are urgently needed for Chris to continue receiving treatment.
